It looks as if they tried to include many different sides of what the music lover would hope to find as they search onward.
The very first results at the top of the page include a thumbnail sized picture and to the right of the picture are smaller play buttons that give you the option to listen to samples of the most relevant and listened to tracks based on the specificity of your search.
You are also given the option to listen to these at the many partnered .com companies including imeem, myspace, lala, Pandora, rhapsody, emi, sony, universal music group and the warner bothers record labels. These businesses have all come together to work together in their collective agreements to help the consumer of any age to find their way to the sound of the music in a much easier way.

Below all of these listings for music playbacks you will see the artist’s website address if you want to visit, popular and relevant images and their wiki page profile of course.

All in all, I see this as being a great and positive move forward in the music sector of Google and how it can continue to give you results that help you to hear and to see where you can go to find more information that will build up your knowledge of what you want to know more about.
